 MOSAIC BLOCK SET

MOSAIC BLOCK SET LAYOUTS
Arranged like a mosaic tile, the above Photo Block arrangement can be made from either square or rectangle blocks. Position the smaller blocks on either the left or the right, whichever you feel looks the best in your home. You can also design double the amount and create an impressive panoramic arrangement to really make a statement.

Arranged like bricks, this arrangement of photo blocks works best with a collection of landscape and portrait photos. Example shown at the top of this page. Perfect for telling the story of your special wedding day or newborn photography.

With the central point a focus, this photo block arrangement is perfect when you have a hero photo you want featured, with complimentary photos around it. You can use only square or rectangle blocks, or mix it up by having the centre block a square or rectangle and surrounding block the opposite shape.

 FREESTYLE PHOTO BLOCK SET

This is where you have the freedom to design with all different sizes and arrange them on the wall when you get them home. If you are a planner, get a piece of paper out and start drawing rectangles to see what arrangement you like the best. The possibilities are endless!

START DESIGNING YOUR PHOTO BLOCK SETS

PREPARE:

Measure your wall

Measure the overall area of the wall you want your photos to be hung. This will help you decide what size Photo Blocks you need.

The best way is to measure the width and the height of the area you want the the Photo Blocks to be.

Collect your photos

Go through your phone or laptop and create an album of your favourite photos. Don't worry, you will be able to shortlist them later.

Browse through our  templates above to see if any spark your interest. You can use these as a guide to see what sizes will fit on your wall. Or make up your own!

Pick your photos

This can be the hard part. You now need to shortlist your favourite photos down to the number that your need for your Block Set.

Call me old fashioned, but this is when I like to get my pencil and paper out to help visualise the design.

Roughly draw some square and rectangles of your Block Set arrangement and start to visualise which photos would fit on each Photo Block.

It might sound obvious, but match the orientation of the photos to match the block orientation. Or if your are wanting square Blocks, make sure the photo can be cropped square without cropping your image too much.

Start Customising your Photo Blocks!

It's now the fun part!

There are two ways you can customise your Photo Blocks on our website.

Option 1: Go to Single Photo Blocks and choose the block shape for each photo. This is perfect if your Block Set is made up square and rectangle Blocks.

Option 2: Go to our Wood Photo Block Sets collection and find the listing for the same quantities of blocks you are needing.  This is the option you choose if your block set is made up of the same shape (square or rectangle). The sizes can be different, but the shape is the same.

Either option will automatically calculate a 15% discount once you add four or more blocks to the cart.

Design them to your own style

You can now design each photo block to your style. You may want them to all have borders or you might want a variety. It's totally up to you!

To help you keep track, use your piece of paper you used to sketch out your design to write some notes on what customise options you want on each block.

Here are list of options to choose from:
- Size
- Borders (no border, wood border or white border)
- Print type ( exposed wood or bright white)
- Message on the back

You can refer to our Blog Post about the different customisation options here. Or refer to the reference images on the product page of the website.

Note:
If you choose to have a message on the back of only one Photo Block, only complete it on the design you want it to appear. If you would like a different message on each block, then simply complete it on each design.

All Photo Blocks will be carefully packaged into one box and sent to the address listed at the checkout. We can't send individual Photo Blocks to different addresses in the same order.
